The weekend of 26 and 27 September saw many of our Avon Juniors head to Gordano to play in this annual benchmarking event.
It was a busy two days of badminton, featuring 87 competitors from ages 8 to 18 playing 249 matches to determine who would be victorious as our Avon County Champions of 2026.🏆
A big thank you to our chair Stephen Chou and Bob Hammersley plus their fabulous band of volunteers for organising and coordinating such a busy event so successfully.
And congratulations to all our competitors who took part; those of you who celebrated wins and took home medals, but also all our players who didn’t get a win but played hard with great sportsmanship and team spirit, you all did your county proud!🖤❤️
