Avon medallists at the Avon u15 Bronze

Congratulations to everyone who played in the Avon Under 15 Bronze, the first national junior event the county has run. There was an excellent representation from Avon with 15 local players competing, and success for several, with Nok Yi Chui (Noel) and Kruthi Porturaju both of Avon taking gold in the Girls' Doubles.

Alfie Jaimon took silver in the Boys' Singles, losing to the first seed Punit Kishore Kumar of Warwickshire.

Kruthi Porturaju of Avon took silver in the Girls' Singles losing to Annie Lyu of Gloucestershire, with Noel taking a bronze after also losing to Annie.

Kruthi and Dhanush Porturaju battled through to a bronze in the Mixed Doubles.

A huge thank you once again to Bob Hammersley and his team for his hard work in the organisation and preparation of the tournament, and running the event on the day.
