Avon Badminton Association recognises that there is a need for more opportunities to attract new players to the sport, and it wants to encourage senior clubs to consider the setting up and development of junior and other sections to their club.
Often this will help to future proof a club by providing a pathway for juniors, and others into the senior club and competitive play, which overall will contribute to the health of badminton in the region.
Coaching badges are relatively expensive, financially and in terms of the time attending the course. If Avon Badminton Association is approached to contribute to the cost of coaching that will benefit either a junior section, other groups or meet the specific needs of a club, Avon will endeavour to support it. That level of support will be dependent on Avon Badminton Association having sufficient funds, the number of applications, and the benefits to the club and or Avon badminton.
Purpose: This form is for badminton clubs interested in obtaining a subsidy from Avon Badminton Association to support members in taking a Level 1 or Level 2 coaching course.
